Press [PLAY] to begin playback of the song.

Use the PAN knob of the track that is playing to adjust the pan. To
adjust the pan setting for the other tracks, repeat steps 4–6.

Use the channel faders to adjust the volume of each track. First
determine the volume of the song’s main tracks (usually the
vocals or perhaps a guitar melody). Then, set levels for the other
tracks. It is a good idea to create a balance in which the volume of
the other tracks is lower than the main tracks. Afterwards, make
final adjustments to the pan and equalizer settings for each track
as you listen to the overall mix.

Adjust the recording levels. Adjust the output volume with the
VS-880EX’s master fader, making it as high as possible without
causing any input overload on the recorder.

Press [ZERO] on the VS-880EX, to return to the beginning of the
song.

Put your recorder in record mode.

Press [PLAY] on the VS-880EX to begin playback of the song.

When you have finished recording, stop the recorder.

Press [STOP] on the VS-880EX.

Listen to the recorded result. Rewind the tape and play back the
recording.
