The explanations in this manual include illustrations that depict what
should typically be shown by the display. Note, however, that your
unit may incorporate a newer, enhanced version of the system (e.g.,
includes newer sounds), so what you actually see in the display may
not always match what appears in the manual.
Connecting Audio Equipment
To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices,
always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices
before making any connections.
When you use headphones, connect them to the PHONES jack in the rear panel.
The sound from the PHONES jack is the same as the sound from the MASTER
jacks. Adjust the headphones volume with the PHONES knob.
At the time of purchase, all of the VS-880EX’s analog audio signals are set to be
output from the MASTER jacks.
