Safety Functions

This chapter only applies to the Armor PowerFlex safety version (35S) used in a
safety application. If you are using an Armor PowerFlex standard version
(35E), this chapter does not apply to you.

The Armor PowerFlex safety version provides hard-wired Safe Torque Off
(STO), integrated Safe Torque Off (STO), integrated drive-based Safe Stop 1
functions, Safe Brake Control (SBC), and integrated controller-based Safe
Monitor functions, capability.
