11.4.1 Simple Fault Findin g (burner faults)
If the b u rner fails to ignite for any reason, it w ill go to
locko u t. This w ill be indicated by the red light on the
heater or at the remote indicator (if fitted).
1. Press in and release the locko u t reset b u tton on
the b u rner or, if fitted, the remote reset.
Locko u t sho u ld not occ u r d u ring normal operation of
the heater and indicates there is a fa u lt condition
w hich m u st be corrected.
11.4.2 Simple Fault Findin g (oil fired heaters)
Make s u re the appliance f u el v al v e is open and
there is oil in the tank. If the f u el tank or lines ha v e
r u n dry, the f u el system w ill need to be v ented. For
v enting oil-fired heaters, See Page 45, Section 10.7
through Section 10.8.4 .
11.4.3 Blocked Flue
If locko u t lamp is ill u minated call registered installer
to v erify. See Page 46, Section 10.8.5 .
