11.2.1 Combination Fan/Limit Thermostat
The Combination Fan/Limit Thermostat is located at
the top right side of the heater.

erheating.

11.3.1 To Turn On Heater
1. Ens

re that the electrical and gas s

pplies to
the heater are on. Check that the on-site con-
trols are “ON”.
NOTE:
The thermostat setting m

ambient temperat

re for the heater to operate.

. The heater

11.3.2 To Turn the Heater Off
Set the installed remote controls to the “OFF”
position or t

n the remote thermostat belo

re.

n for a fe

tes.
To restart, t

rn the remote control to “ON".
If the heater

ill remain off for a long period of time,

11.4 Simple Fault Findin
g

Some possible reasons for the heater not operating
are:
1. Gas s

pply not t

rned ON.
2. Electricity s

pply not t

rned ON.
3. The time and/or temperat
u
re controls are not
ON.
4. The Limit Thermostat may ha
v
e operated. This
may be ca
u
sed by an interr
u
ption of the electri-
cal s
u
pply or fail
u
re of the distrib
u
tion fan.
5. The b
u
rner s
u
pply pl
u
g has been discon-
nected.
If the Limit Thermostat persistently operates, there
is a fa
u
lt
w
hich m
u
st be in

estigated by a contractor

u
alified in the installation and ser
v
ice of gas or oil-
fired heating eq
u
ipment.
