• DO NOT jack up the vehicle before you remove the spare tire. You need the vehicle flat on the ground with the front tires
chocked and the emergency brake securely applied to remove the spare tire.
•
• Locate the jack handle (three pieces of steel tubing in the pouch) and the "banana" lever in the jack compartment.
•
• Locate the 19 mm - 3/4 inch wrench which came in the white box of Roadtrek accessories. Roadtrek recommends you keep
this in the glovebox when not in use so that it will be readily available.

• Connect the three pieces of the jack handle, and insert the assembled handle into the open end of the "banana" lever.
•
• Raise and secure the utility bay access door covering the spare tire carrier.
