• Turn on the water pump, and circulate the dilute bleach solution through the entire system. Run water out of all three
faucets (galley, shower, bathroom sink), hot and cold, until you smell chlorine.

• Allow the system to sit overnight.
•
• Drain the fresh water tank completely, fill with clean water, and run all faucets for 2-3 minutes each. Run the hot water
long enough to flush the chlorine water out of the 2-3 gallon Alde hot water tank - probably five minutes or more. To help
get rid of the residual chlorine smell, pour a cup of vinegar into the fresh water tank, fill, let sit for a few hours, run the
faucets for a minute or so apiece (again, run the hot water long enough to flush the tank), drain the tank to ground, and
refill with fresh water.
