How to winterize your TS Adventurous

Fresh water tank drain, under passenger

Typical non-toxic RV

antifreeze

This procedure can be done in less than 30 minutes with no specialized tools. The TS Adventurous has a unique water system
which allows you to winterize the system without adding RV antifreeze to the fresh water supply. However, RV antifreeze is
still needed to winterize the waste water system. Freezing the waste water system will cause damage to the waste water
discharge pump and other waste water system components.

•

• 1. Get one gallon of RV antifreeze.

DO NOT use automotive antifreeze. RV antifreeze is non-toxic and safe for use in RVs. Although the TS winterizing

process does not use RV antifreeze in the fresh water system, the incorrect antifreeze in the waste water system may
damage the seals.

•

• 2. Dump and rinse the gray and black tanks if they are not already empty.
•

• 3. Turn the water pump off and park your vehicle as level as possible to facilitate draining the system. If you have any

doubts about whether your unit is level, drive it a short distance after completing the winterization process to allow all
water to drain from the fresh water system.
