Unsetting after an Alarm
If an alarm has occurred, it will be indicated by the keypad. Once the cause of the alarm has
been established the system must be reset.
To unset the system after an alarm:
1.
If outside the premises, open an "entry" door. The keypad(s) beeps, indicating that the
entry delay period has begun.
2.
Observe the keypad. If the
icon is flashing, and the display shows the activated
partition, an alarm activation has occurred. Pressing the
key will show the
activated partition and zone.
3.
Hold the tag close to the keypad's keys OR enter your user code and press
. If an
alarm occurred:
a)
The
icon will flash
b)
The sounders will sound four sounder chirps, indicating that an alarm occurred
in the system.
c)
If your system is equipped with the voice module, an announcement message
will be broadcast: "Alarm occurred in the system".
4.
Scroll through the list of alarm zones. To exit the alarm memory mode before the
timeout has expired, press
(which will clear the alarm memory) or
(which
will not clear the alarm memory)
5.
If required, proceed to “Resetting after an alarm” (see below).
Note:
If an alarm occurred in the system, it is recommended to leave the premises. Only after
police investigation should you consider that the burglar is no longer on your premises
and you can re-enter. In special cases (if programmed by your engineer) setting the system
after an alarm might require an engineer code. On the LCD, a

reset
message may appear. For more information, consult with your engineer.
