Before the outer glass can be fitted, the lower trim catches need
to be removed. This cannot be done once the glass has been
attached.
Remove the retainer springs from inside the engine and the
latches can then be removed from the outside of the engine.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that both inner and outer glass panels are
clean and all protective plastic has been removed
from the stainless steel louvre and all dust and
fingerprints etc. are removed before fixing outer
glass to engine - whilst removal of the inner glass is
possible there is no access to the top louvre or lower
divider panels.
