Ensure power cord is plugged in and turned on

No gas present

Ensure gas supply is turned on

power cut

Re-ignite after power is restored

Air in gas pipe

Purge air (installer)

Ignition failure

Repeat lighting procedure.

Smell of gas

Leaking gas

Turn gas off at meter and call installer

Heater still warming up

Small soot deposit

Normal operation

Inadequate flue system
