Maintenance
The gas detector is an important instrument for the purpose of safety.
To maintain the performance of the gas detector and improve the reliability of safety, perform a regular
maintenance.
7-1. Maintenance intervals and items

Daily maintenance: Perform maintenance before beginning to work.

Monthly maintenance: Perform maintenance on the alarm circuit (alarm test) once a month.

Regular maintenance: Perform maintenance once or more for every six months to maintain the
performance as a safety unit.

Power supply

display check Check that the concentration display value is zero.
When the reading is incorrect, perform the zero
adjustment after ensuring that no other gases exist

Flow rate check See the flow rate indicator to check for abnormalities. ○ ○ ○
Filter check Check the dust filter for dust or clogging. ○ ○ ○
Alarm test Inspect the alarm circuit by using the alarm test

Span adjustment Perform the span adjustment by using the calibration
gas.

Gas alarm check Check the gas alarm by using the calibration gas. ○
