8. DISPOSAL OF THE INSTRUMENT
There is no harmful material contained in the instrument and its component parts. When the
instrument is desired to be disposed, take an appropriate disposal method based on local
regulation.
9. TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following trouble shootings do not cover all problems, however those that occur most
frequently are mentioned to help you to find the causes and the solutions.
Symptoms Causes Solutions
The Power is not turned On
No batteries or the AC
adaptor may not be
connected.
Battery polarity is wrong.
The POWER key is not
pressed long enough.
Insert batteries or connect
the AC adaptor.
Place batteries at the correct
direction.
Keep on pressing the
POWER key until the buzzer
beeps.
The reading is not correct
AIR CAL. is not performed
properly.
Interference gas (All kind of
gases except the sample
gas [SF6] and the base gas
[Air]) is included in the
sample gas.
Supply the fresh air enough
to the Measuring Unit until
the indication value gets
stable, and then press the
AIR CAL key until it starts to
beep.
The sample gas that
contains interference gas
cannot be measured.
