21 TROUBLESHOOTING
FAULT CAUSE SOLUTION
The power indicator flashes red. The
symbol appears fixed a the symbol
flashes.
Sensor faulty. The code 888.8: conductor
breakage appears in the corresponding
parameter.
− Check the sensor and the cable.
Sensor faulty. The code -88.8: short
circuit appears in the corresponding
parameter.
− Check the connection.
The power indicator is always off.
Electrical power supply faulty. − Check the electrical power supply.
Fuse blown. − Replace the fuse.
The pump is hot but heat is not being
transferred from the collector to the
storage cylinder, collector outlet tem-
perature is the same as collector return
temperature, or the pipes are noisy.
Air in circuit.
− Bleed the circuit.
− Switch the pump on and off briefly.
Pump faulty.
− Unseize the pump.
− Replace the pump.
Solar circuit filter clogged. − Clean the filter.
Non-return or shut-off valves faulty. − Replace the faulty components.
The pump comes on too late.
