When maximum storage cylinder temperature ( S MX ) is reached,
the solar pump stays on to stop the collector overheating.
Meanwhile, storage cylinder temperature may continue to rise,
but only to 95 °C (storage cylinder heating safety deactivation
temperature).
The solar pump stays on in the evening to cool the storage cyl-
inder through the collector. The pump remains on until storage
cylinder temperature falls below maximum temperature.
If domestic hot water is not drawn off for an extended period,
the supplementary holiday cooling function OHOL can be acti-
vated to increase storage cylinder cooling. If the OHOL function is
activated, temperature setting THOL replaces maximum storage
cylinder temperature ( S MX / S1MX ) as deactivation temperature
for the storage cylinder cooling function.
When the holiday cooling function is activated, the symbols
and (flashing) appear on the display. When holiday cooling
is activated, the symbols , and (flashing) appear on
the display.

The tube collector function is activated during the set time band
(between TCST and TCEN ). The function activates the solar pump
for the run time set in ( TCRU ) between the inactive times (set in
TCIN
) to compensate for the delay in measurement of collector
temperature.
If run time TCRU is set to more than ten seconds, the pump
functions at maximum speed for the first ten seconds (starting
power).
The pump runs at the minimum speed setting nMN for the re-
mainder of the set run time. This function is suppressed if the
collector sensor if faulty or the collector blocked.
