ANTI-CYCLE FUNCTION (TIMER OFF CH):

 once the

setpoint has been reached the burner will cycle on and off

until an external control, e.g. time clock cancels the heating

request. This function imposes a set time between the

burner OFF/ON cycles in order to optimise efficiency. The

factory setting is 3 minutes and can be set and confirmed

to a value between 0 min and 20 min.

RESET CH TIMER:

this parameter allows you to reset

the REDUCED HEATING MAXIMUM OUTPUT TIMING,

during which the speed of the fan is limited to 75% of the

maximum heating output that has been set, and the AIR

PURGING CYCLE. The factory setting for this parameter

is  FUNCTION NOT ACTIVE, select FUNCTION ACTIVE,

confirming the selection for resetting the timings.

DOMESTIC HOT WATER THERMOSTAT:

  this parameter

allows you to set the type of DOMESTIC HOT WATER

THERMOSTAT. The factory setting is RELATED, i.e. for

domestic hot water the boiler switches off at se5°C

and restarts at se4°C.  Select the ABSOLUTE

values, where the boiler for domestic hot water will still

switch off at 65°C and restart at 63°C.

PREHEATING:

 parameter  PREHEATING = 1 (function

active, P symbol on steady). This function keeps the water

in the domestic hot water exchanger hot, to reduce standby

times when a request is made. During a pre-heating

request, the P symbol starts flashing. With PREHEATING =

0, the symbol P switches off aand the function is deactivate.

The function is not active when the boiler is OFF.

-

TOUCH & GO:

if you do not want PREHEATING to

be always active and you want hot water immediately

ready, it is possible to preheat the domestic hot water

just a few moments before taking it. Set the parameter to

PREHEATING = 2, to activate the TOUCH&GO function.

This function allows you, by opening and closing the tap, to

start the instantaneous preheating that prepare the hot water

only for that water take.

-

DHW DELAY:

this parameter allows you to set the delayed

starting of the boiler in domestic hot water mode. The

factory setting is 0 and can be programmed within the

range 0 - 60 sec.

-

DO_AUX1:

through this value it is possible to configure the

functions associated with the digital output used to manage

the additional pump and the zone valve. The factory setting

for this parameter is 0 and can be set within the 0 - 2 range

with the following meaning:

Pin 1 and 2 of X21 Jumper not present Jumpered

CONFIG OTBUS:

this parameter is used to enable the

remote control of the boiler via an OpenTherm device:

1 = FACTORY VALUE. OTBus function enabled. The

message “OPEN THERM CONNECTED” will appear on

the display when an OTBus device connected.

b

The OpenTherm connection is not enabled in the presence

of a heat pump.

0 = OTBus function disabled. If this parameter is set at

0, any possible OTBus connection is instantaneously

interrupted.

6.2.2  CONFIGURATION OF THE ZONE

zone by accessing the ZONES MANAGER menu.

-

TYPE OF HEAT REQUEST:

 this parameter allows you to

specify the type of heat request, it is possible to choose

from among the following options:

THERMOSTAT

(factory setting): the heat request is

generated with an ON/OFF thermostat

REC10CH MASTER:

the heat request is generated by the

REC10CH MASTER; in this case the REC10CH assumes

the function of an HIU (Human Machine Interface)

-

TYPE OF ZONE:

this parameter allows you to specify the

type of zone to be heated, it is possible to choose from

among the following options:

  HIGH TEMPERATURE (factory setting):

  LOW TEMPERATURE

-

MIN SET HEAT:

this parameter allows you to specify the

minimum heating setpoint that is possible (range 20°C -

80.5°C, default 20°C for high temperature systems; range

20°C - 45°C, default 20°C for low temperature systems)

-

MAX SET HEAT:

this parameter allows you to specify the

maximum heating setpoint that is possible (range 20°C

- 80.5°C, default 80.5°C for high temperature systems

- range 20°C - 45°C, default 45°C for low temperature

systems)

-

CHANGING NAME:

this parameter allows you to attribute

a specific name to the heating zone

-

POR (embedded clock function):

this parameter

enables or disables the embedded clock.

Embedded clock disabled (default) = 0

Central heating is controlled (ON & OFF) by the room

thermostat connection (TA).

Embedded clock enabled = 1

Central heating ON/OFF times are controlled according to

the (default) heating programme, whilst room temperature

is controlled via the room thermostat (TA). Ensure that the

operating mode (‘STATE’ menu) is set to AUTO.
