The boilers manufactured in our factories are checked
even in the smallest details in order to protect users
and installers against possible injury. After working
on the product, qualified personnel must check the
electrical wiring, in particular the stripped part of le-
ads, which must not protrude from the terminal board
and avoiding possible contact with live parts of the
leads themselves.

This manual is an integral part of the product: make sure
it is always kept with the appliance, even if it is trans-
ferred to another owner or user, or moved to another
heating system. If it gets lost or damaged, contact your
local Technical Assistance Centre for a new copy.

This appliance should not be operated by children
younger than 8 years, people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities, or inexperienced peo-
ple who are not familiar with the product, unless they
are given close supervision or instructions on how to
use it safely and are made aware by a responsible
person of the dangers its use might entail. Children
must not play with the appliance. It is the user’s re-
sponsibility to clean and maintain the appliance. Chil-
dren should never clean or maintain it unless they are
given supervision.

The boiler must only be installed and serviced by
qualified personnel, in accordance with current regu
-
lations.
b
Boiler maintenance must be carried out at least once
a year; this should be booked in advance with the Te-
chnical Assistance Centre to ensure the necessary
safety standards.

The installer must instruct the user with regards the use
of the appliance and the fundamental safety regulations.
b
The user must respect the warnings given in this manual.
b
This boiler must only be used for the application it was
designed for. The manufacturer accepts no liability within
or without the contract for any damage caused to people,
animals and property due to installation, adjustment and
maintenance errors or to improper use.

After removing the packaging, make sure the content
is in good condition and complete. Otherwise, contact
the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance.
b
The safety valve outlet must be connected to a sui-
table collection and venting system. The manufactu-
rer declines all liability for any damage caused due to
any intervention carried out in the safety valve.
b
Dispose of all the packaging materials in the suitable
containers at the corresponding collection centres.
b
Dispose of waste by being careful not to harm human
health and without employing procedures or methods
which may damage the environment.
At the end of its life, the product should be not be
disposed of as solid urban waste, but rather it should
be handed over to a differentiated waste collection
centre.
During installation, inform the user that:
- in the event of water leaks, the water supply must be
shut off and the Technical Assistance Centre contacted
immediately
- must periodically check that the operating pressure of
the hydraulic system is higher than 1 bar. If necessary,
restore the pressure by opening the filling tap
(
section

)

wait for the pressure to increase: check on the boiler di-
splay that the value reaches 1-1.5 bar; then close the
filling tap

).
If the boiler is not used for a long period of time, it is recom-
mended to perform the following operations:
- set the boiler status and the main switch of the appliance
to OFF
- close the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic
hot water system
- empty the heating and domestic hot water circuits if there
is the risk of freezing.

If the appliance is not used for more than 60 days, it is
necessary to fill the siphon in the boiler. If the boiler is
installed where the ambient temperature can remain
above 30°C for prolonged periods, fill the siphon after
a period of 30 days of inactivity. The operation must
be carried out by professionally qualified personnel.
For safety reasons, please remember that:
a
It is forbidden to activate electric devices or appliances
such as switches, household appliances and so on if you
notice a smell of fuel or unburnt fuel. In this case:
-ventilate the room by opening the doors and windows;

lose the fuel shut-off device

-ask the Technical Assistance Centre or professional-
ly qualified personnel to intervene promptly
.

It is forbidden to touch the appliance while barefoot or
if parts of your body are wet.
a
Any technical or cleaning operation is forbidden befo-
re disconnecting the appliance from the main power
supply by turning the system’s main switch to “OFF”
by setting the boiler to “OFF”.

Do not modify the safety or adjustment devices wi-
thout the manufacturer’s authorisation and precise
instructions.
a
It is prohibited to pull, detach or twist the electrical
cables coming from the appliance even if it is discon-
nected from the mains power supply.
a
Avoid blocking or reducing the size of the air vent
openings in the installation room. The air vents are
essential for correct combustion.
a
Do not leave flammable containers and substances in
the room where the device is installed.
a
It is forbidden to disperse the packaging material in
the environment and leave it within children’s reach
as it may be a potential source of danger. It must be
disposed in accordance with the present law.
a
It is forbidden to obstruct the condensate drain out-
let. The condensate drain pipe should be facing the
discharge pipe, preventing the formation of further
drain pipes.

Never carry out any work on the gas valve.
a
It is forbidden to intervene on sealed elements.

the user and the installer. Specifically, note that the user, for the
