Toner Cartridges
Each toner cartridge contains the toner bottle and toner supply
mechanisms.
Projections on the right side of the toner cartridge ensure each
cartridge is always inserted into the correct position.
The toner cartridges are arranged in the order of Y, M, C, and K as
viewed from the front of the machine.
Each toner cartridge has an ID chip [1] that contains information
such as product information and the number of prints. This ID
chip also informs the machine when the cartridge is a new one.
ID chip information can be checked in SP mode.
