1.15 ADS ADJUSTMENT (SP Mode #58)

Standard Value: 3.0 ± 0.1V

Place a couple of sheets of A3 (LDG) size paper on the exposure glass.

Remove the DIP switch cover [A] and turn DIP switch 1 - 4 ON.

Enter ADS adjusting mode with the numeric keys. (SP mode #58)

Press the Start key.

Use VR101 of the system control board to adjust the peak value dis-

played on the magnification display [B] to 3.0 ± 0.1V.

NOTE: This adjustment should be performed in the following cases:

a) When replacing the system control board, the optical fiber, and/or

after adjusting the exposure lamp output.

b) If the ADS value is out of standard when it is checked, perform

the ADS adjustment.
