When this digits is 1, the printer is in Epson LQ mode. When this switch is 0,
the printer is in BJ mode.

Emulation digit 12
Set this digit 1 to enable automatic emulation switching mode. In this mode,
the printer detects whether the codes being sent are Epson LQ mode or BJ
mode. It then selects the printer control mode to match the printer driver
selected in the MS-DOS application.

When emulation digit 12 is 0, the printer control mode is set by Emulation
digit 11 (1 selects Epson LQ mode, 0 selects BJ mode).
