SETTING UP

Installing the Starter Toner Cassette

Handle

Raise the document trap.

Lift up the tabs located on the sides
of the machine and open the front
unit.

Hold the starter toner cassette by its
handle, and remove it from its vinyl bag.

CAUTION

Keep all plastic bags out of the reach of chil-
dren.

 Important!

Be sure to hold the starter toner cassette by
its handle.

 Note

Keep the vinyl bag for later repackaging when
necessary.

Holding the starter toner cassette by its
handle, gently shake it side to side 5 or
6 times to evenly distribute the toner
inside.

 Important!

Be sure to hold the starter toner cassette by its
handle.

Look inside the machine and note the
locations of the arrows that indicate the
toner cassette guides on either side.
