The AP video output is connected (internally) to
MediaWall V
Input 5. You can route this input to a
UHD window on the wall, or to an auxiliary or switched output. Refer to
Routing Inputs to Auxiliary or Switched Outputs on page 21
.
2.4.1 Controlling the AP
There are two ways to interact with the AP desktop: locally, using a mouse and keyboard
connected directly to the
MediaWall V
, or remotely, using the Windows Remote Desktop
Connection application.

For detailed instructions on establishing a Windows Remote Desktop Connection to the
MediaWall V
AP, choose
Start > Help and Support
. Enter
remote desktop
connection
in the
Search Help
box and press Enter.
In order to connect to the AP in this manner, you or a system administrator must enable
Remote Access on the AP. The
MediaWall V 4K/UHD Display Processor Technical

describes in detail how to do this.
2.4.2 Changing the AP Desktop Size
The default
MediaWall V
AP desktop size is 1920 × 1200. However, you can change the
desktop size to 3840 × 2160 if you wish, provided you either:

Route the AP input to an auxiliary or switched output to which you have connected a
4K/UHD display; or
●
Route the AP input to a UHD window on the wall.
To set the AP desktop size to 3840 × 2160:

You cannot route the AP input to an HD window on the wall.
Note
You must use the
MediaWall V
command line interface to change the AP Desktop
size. Refer to the
