Alignment of the guide rails
Put the printer on its back. Use a support to prevent damage to the
PCB.
Secure the Y-carriage e.g. with a screw (simple push it into a hole of
the guide rail and put down the Y-carriage on it).
Release the 4 M5 cylinder-head screws that attach the rear vertical
aluminium profiles to the rear transverse profiles.
They only need to be slightly loose.
Loosen all M3 cylinder-head screws of the two guide rails, but only
until the guide carriages can still slide over them.
Align the two guide rails evenly in height.
Move the undertable up and down manually several times.
Move the undertable all the way down.
Then tighten the bottom-most screw of the 1st guide rail.
Move the undertable up and down manually several times again.
Move the undertable all the way up.
Then tighten the top-most screw of the 1st guide rail.
Move the undertable up and down manually several times again.
Then proceed identically for the 2nd guide rail.
When the two bottom- and top-most screws are tightened, tighten all
other screws of the guide rails.
Always move the undertable to the screw that you are currently tight-
ening.
When all screws are tight, tighten the 4 M5 cylinder-head screws
hand-tight as well.
