b) Preparation of the Z-expansion
Assembly of the spindle
1 x spindle 571 mm
1 x flange nut
Turn the nut onto the new spindle, best from below (side without
thread).
The nut must be aligned as illustrated.
Assembly of the guide rails holder
2 x aluminium profile 600 mm with 1 bore
1 x aluminium profile 137 mm with 1 bore in the middle
1 x plastic insert for bore
2 x guide rail with guide carriage (640 mm)
2 x cylinder-head screw M5x20
14 x cylinder-head screw M3x8 (10 new and 4 present)
14 x slot nut M3 (10 new and 4 present)
Assemble the 3 aluminium profiles as illustrated.
Screw the two M5
cylinder head screws into the two bores of the long profiles.
The screws also need to be inserted into the respective bore from the
milled side bore.
Tighten both screws.
The bore of the transverse-profile must be aligned like the long alu
-
minium profiles.
Insert the plastic insert here from above (the side
where the transverse profile is located).
