Assembly of the guide rail holder
1 x guide rail-holder incl. guide rails and cart
4 x cylinder-head screw M5x20
Remove the green circlip at the small transverse profile at the upper
guide rail (referring to the figure). For this, compress the clip at the
open side and take it out. The other clips stay in the guide rails for
the moment.
Insert the guide rail holder into the printer as illustrated. The small
transverse profile must be at the top and point towards the upper rear
transverse profile. The plastic insert must be inserted into the small
transverse profile from above.
The side where the green circlip was removed must be threaded
through the Z-limit switch holder.
Attach the guide rail holder with 2 M5 cylinder-head screws.
Tighten both screws hand-right.
Support the guide rail holder by hand until the screws have
been tightened!
Insert the aluminium profile with the Z-motor as illustrated.
The motor connection must point towards the main PCB.
Attach the profile with 2 M5 cylinder-head screws each from below to
the guide rail holder and at the side of the two vertical outer profiles.
Tighten all screws hand-tight.
Carefully put the printer on its feet and attach the aluminium profile
with the filament holder and the opposite one with one M5-cylinder-
head screw each.
Tighten both screws hand-right.
