“Next Header” specifies the value of “Next Header” field in the IPv6 packet header.

“Src Address” specifies the value of “Source Address” field in the IPv6 packet header. If the “Use BN
Link-
local” is checked, the link-local address is used that is composed of
fe80::/64
as a network ID
and
“Modified EUI-64” as an interface ID. If user wants to use an address other than the link-local
address, set the address to the
“Src Address” box
without checking
“Use BN Link-local”

link-local address of the node is shown in the
“Load address table from EUI” box.

Context Table
The BN tool can edit the context table used for the stateful address compression. By checking the
"Enable" column, the specified context information activates.
