3.3
Data Transmission Test
“prime14_cpx3_pc_bn_RevXXX.exe” has several parameters for Transmission test. There are 3
transmission types (CON.TYPE=NULL SSCS / IEC432 SSCS / AppEmu / IPv6).
-
Null / IEC432 / AppEmu / IPv6
specifies the CON.TYPE field of CON control packet which
transmitted from Base Node. (Please refer to 3.16 for details on the settings for operating in IPv6
mode.)
-
Unicast / Multicast
specifies the addressing type. (AppEmu mode and IPv6 mode are limited to
Unicast.)
-
Modulation
specifies a modulation type of each data-packet.
“AUTO” means that modulation is
updated according to the robustness management.
-
Data length
specifies the length of data packet in byte (MIN 2 bytes / MAX 1270 bytes).
-
Data
specifies a transmission data which any file has been selected by user. When this field is
specified no file, then this application will send a data which is incremented number from 0.
-
Priority
is specified in PRIME spec and it specifies the timing of sending data to Power Line.
(Recommended value is 3).
-
ACK mode
specifies transfer mode (Application level). This is a limited function between Renesas
Base Node and Service Node. (This is not supported on AppEmu mode.)
-
Request length
is only valid when ACK = Data request. (This is not supported on AppEmu mode.)
-
Number of trans
specifies transfer times.
-
Time reference
specifies the type of Time Reference sub header.
-
Edit TREF Params
specifies the parameters of Time Reference sub header (setting dialog pops
up). This setting is enabled only when
“Cert” or “Fix” is selected for TREF.
-
APPEMU
specifies the options for AppEmu cycle test execution. These are only activated when
AppEmu for CON.TYPE is selected.
-
ARQ
is specified in PRIME spec. It enables Automatic Repeat Request (MAC level).
(ACK/NACK is reported from receiver to sender for each data packet) (This is not supported on
AppEmu mode.)
-
AE Enable
is specified in PRIME spec. It enables authentication and encryption on the data sent.
(This is supported on SP1 or SP2.)
