Final stopping of the vehicle
When the vehicle has come to a complete halt, apply the parking brake, move the ring (2)
of selector (1) to position
"N" and stop the engine with the ignition key.
Protection of the clutch
For the most part in manoeuvring mode, any
overheating of the clutch is signalled by the dis-
play of a warning pictogram (1) and a message
(2) "CLUTCH OVERHEATING".
Excessive use of slipping the clutch is no long-
er possible:
– Upon acceleration, the clutch is engaged
and may cause the engine to stall.
– If you release the accelerator pedal, the
clutch is released.
To avoid clutch wear:
– Accelerate freely to move away,
– Move the ring (2) on selector (1) to position
"N" if you stop for more than a minute.
Protection against overspeed
The system prevents gears from being engaged that could lead to engine runaway.
