Pulley Service / Replacement

Removal

Remove firescreen and glass door, see instructions in this manual.

1. Detach the counterweight channel by loosening the inside bottom screw on

left and right channels, then lift channels up and out.

Replacement

1. Place the rear weight channel back into its original position by sliding it into

the top screw and attaching the bottom screw. Then place the door tool as
shown to hold the weight channel.

WARNING:

THE COUNTERWEIGHTS IN THIS UNIT ARE VERY HEAVY

AND CAN CAUSE INJURY. USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING DOORS,
COUNTERWEIGHTS, OR CABLES. ALWAYS ENSURE CABLES ARE
SECURED WHEN REMOVING DOORS.

2. Attach the front cable around the top hook on the extension toll provided

and slowly let the weight drop down to the ground. Once the weight is on
the ground, use the extension tool to remove the cable from the pulley.

3. Repeat previous step (2) with the back cables.

4. Detach the front support pulley by screwing the 2 screws as shown.

2. Place the cable of the back counter weight (heavy one) around the top hook

of the extension tool and attach it around the pulley. Once the cable is around
the pulley, pull the cable down and hook it on the side.
