Important!
Observe that the composite signal converter inputs are assigned without gaps! With a 7-channel receiver
the receiver outputs 1 - 7 must be assigned in chronologically correct order with the corresponding inputs
of the sum signal converter. For example, if the receiver outputs 1 - 4 and then 6 and 7 are assigned, the
electronic unit would not recognise channels 6 and 7!
Due to the many remote control receiver sizes and builds on the market, we cannot give any concrete
installation notes for the receiver. Depending on the receiver used, you may either install it between the
PCBs in the grid frame of on the reinforcement plate.
If the PCBs must be relocated in the grid frame for installation of the receiver, we recommend to place the
main PCB (flight control) at the centre of the central frame for best flight characteristics. When installing the
Flight Control, ensure that the DIP switches point towards the front motor (red hook and loop tape) and the
plug connector X5 towards the right motor.
The voltage supply for the RC components (receiver and servos) is limited to 5 V / 200 mA. Observe the
maximum permissible current at all times when connecting the receiver and any connected servos. Other-
wise, the flight control may be impaired (even if the thresholds are only exceeded for short periods).
Practical advice:
If the connection of RC components exceeds the maximum permissible current value, we recommend
connecting the servos with a dedicated power supply. Galvanic separation of the external supply and
internal supply is important.
For this, disconnect the plus lines of the servos (red cables) from the servo plug and connect the plus lines
to the external supply. Impulse line and minus line of the servos may remain connected to the flight control
or the combiboard.
