b) Flight battery
Attention!
After the flight, the LiPo flight battery must be disconnected from the helicopter's rotation speed adjuster.
Do not leave the LiPo flight battery connected to the rotation speed adjuster if the latter is not used (e.g.
during transport or storage). Otherwise, the LiPo flight battery may be totally discharged. This will destroy
it and make it unusable! In addition, there is the risk of malfunctions due to interference. The rotors may
start up accidentally and cause damage or injuries.
• Never charge the LiPo flight battery immediately after use. Always leave the LiPo flight battery to cool off first (at
least 10-15 minutes).
• Use a suitable charger to charge LiPo batteries as well as a LiPo equalizer.
• Charge intact and undamaged batteries only. If the external insulation of the rechargeable battery is damaged or if
the rechargeable battery is warped or bloated, it must not be charged. In this case there is serious danger of fire and
explosion!
• Never damage the outer shell of the LiPo flight battery. Do not cut the foil wrapping! Do not poke into the LiPo flight
battery with sharp objects. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
• Remove the LiPo flight battery that is to be charged from the model and place it on a fire-proof support. Observe a
distance to flammable objects.
• As the charger as well as the LiPo flight battery heat up during the charging procedure, it is necessary to ensure
sufficient ventilation. Never cover the charger and the LiPo flight battery! Of course, this also applies for all other
chargers and accumulators.
• Never charge batteries unsupervised.
• Disconnect the LiPo flight battery from the charger when the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
• The operation of the charger is only permitted in dry, closed rooms. The charger and the LiPo flight battery must not
get damp or wet.
There is danger to life through an electric shock! There is also danger of fire or explosion due to the
integrated rechargeable battery! Especially LiPo batteries and the chemicals they contain are very sensi-
tive to humidity!
Do not expose the charger and the LiPo flight battery to high/low temperatures nor to direct solar radiation.
When handling LiPo batteries, observe the special safety notices of the accumulator manufacturer.
