Details of the SunRise switch gear is shown below. The design of the SunRise includes all the Isolation in the
enclosure. If the inverter needs to be removed for repair, then the enclosure remains behind with the Isolation
intact. This is a similar approach to that adopted by Fronius with their solar inverters and removes the requirement
to add AC and DC Isolators on the wall next to the system.
The system is supplied without the batteries installed. This allows the enclosure to be more easily carried to difficult
installation locations. Once the system is in place the batteries are installed.
All connections are made with plugs except the AC connection from the Main Switch Board of the house, and the
two DC Solar strings connected to the built-in PV ARRAY DC ISOLATOR.
