FAULTS LINKED TO THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
FAULT
POSSIBLE CAUSES
REMEDIES
No increase in
temperature with
boiler in operation
1.
Incorrect combustion adjustment.
2.
Boiler / system dirty.
3.
Insufficient boiler power.
Poor quality pellets
1.
Check recipe and parameters.
2.
Check and clean the boiler.
3.
Make sure the boiler is correctly
sized for the system requirements.
4. Use quality pellets
Condensation in
boiler
1.
Incorrect temperature adjustment.
2.
Inadequate fuel consumption.
1.
Adjust the boiler to a higher
temperature.
2.
Check the recipe and/or technical
parameters.
Radiators cold in
winter
1.
Room thermostat (local or remote)
set too low. If remote thermostat,
check if it is faulty.
2.
Circulation pump does not run
because it has seized up.
3.
Circulation pump does not run.
4.
Radiators have air in them
1.
Set to a higher temperature or
replace if necessary. (if remote)
2.
Release the circulation pump by
removing the plug and turning the
shaft with a screwdriver.
3.
Check the electrical connections of
the circulation pump and replace if
necessary.
4.
Vent the radiators
