FAULTS / CAUSES / SOLUTIONS
CAUTION:
GUIDE FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF
SPECIALISED TECHNICIANS.
CAUTION:
All repairs must be performed solely by a specialised
technician with the boiler switched off and the
appliance unplugged from the socket.
The operations marked in bold must only be
performed by specialised personnel.
The manufacturer will not be held liable and the
guarantee will not be valid if this condition is not
abided by.
FAULT
POSSIBLE CAUSES

Pellets are not being
introduced into the
combustion
chamber.
1.
The pellet tank is empty.
2.
The auger has seized up
3.
The auger geared motor is faulty.
4.
Faulty circuit board.
1.
Fill the tank with pellets.
2.
Empty the tank and free the auger.
3.
Replace the geared motor.
4.
Replace the circuit board.
The fire goes out or
the boiler stops
automatically.
1.
The pellet tank is empty.
2.
The pellets are not being
introduced.
3.
The pellet temperature safety
sensor was triggered.
4.
The door is not closed properly or
the seals are worn.
5.
Unsuitable pellets.
6.
Low pellet feed rate.
7.
Combustion chamber dirty.
8.
Outlet obstructed.
9.
Pressure switch faulty or broken.
10.
Smoke extraction motor failure.
1.
Fill the tank with pellets.
2.
See previous fault.
3.
Allow the boiler to cool down
completely then restart it; if the
problem persists, call for technical
assistance.
4.
Close the door or have
the seals
replaced with original spares.
5.
Change to a type of pellet
recommended by the manufacturer.
6.
Check the recipe and calibration.
7.
Clean the combustion chamber
according to the instructions in the
manual.
8.
Clean the smoke duct.
9.
Replace the pressure switch.
10.
Check the motor and replace it if
necessary.
The boiler operates
for a few minutes
and then shuts
down.
1.
Start-up phase not completed.
2.
Temporary power failure.
3.
Smoke duct obstructed.
4.
Faulty or broken temperature
sensors.
5.
Igniter failure.
1.
Repeat the start-up phase.
2.
See previous instructions.
3.
Clean the smoke duct.
4.
Check and replace sensors if
necessary.
5.
Check and replace igniter if
necessary.
