This feature allows you to save the
group of 32 PROGRAMS together as one sysex dump.
With utility mode ‘7’ selected, the display will alternate between:
commands will ONLY be recognised when this function is set to channel 1 -16. This setting is automatically
stored when power is turned off.

Ensure the connected MIDI storage device is ready to receive the data. Use the menu [EDIT VALUE + or
VALUE -] button to transmit the programs, as shown in the following example:
The main display counts up the program numbers (33, 34, 35...) as they are transmitted. When all 32 programs
have been transmitted the display will show ‘SEnt’ briefly to confirm completion.
This function allows you to set the master MIDI channel for DARKSTAR XP2. Received data such as MIDI Program
Change
Use the menu [EDIT - MENU UP] button to select this feature.
The selections are:
DARKSTAR XP2 will
respond to master MIDI commands such as Program Change.
DARKSTAR XP2 will respond to all master MIDI commands received on the selected channel.
Use the menu [EDIT VALUE + or VALUE -] button to change the setting, as shown in the following example:
When one of the optional conversion kits is installed this function allows you to swap between the two applications.
For full installation and operational details please see the manual supplied with each conversion kit. Use the menu
[EDIT - MENU UP] button to select this feature.
NOTE: Ensure the PROTECT feature is set to ON (or disconnect the MIDI IN) before attempting to save programs.
This will avoid sys-ex data from the save transmission coming straight back into DARKSTAR XP2 which could
result in irregularities to the program data.
