The

Groups

Page

allows

you

to

optionally

separate

your

Ethernet

switches

into

batches

by

assigning

them

into

logical

groups.

This

is

possible

even

if

your

switches

are

all

the

same

model.

The

purpose

of

this

may

be

for

many

reasons

includ

‐

ing

isolating

the

upgrade

process

to

take

place

in

respective

areas

or

buildings

at

your

site.

To

create

or

add

a

new

group

to

the

groups

list,

click

the

Add

Group

button

and

you

will

be

presented

with

the

following

dialog

window:

Enter

a

descriptive

name

for

the

group

of

switches

in

the

Group

Name

box.

Then

enter

the

factory

default

IP

address

of

the

Ethernet

switches

contained

in

this

group.

This

is

typically

192.168.1.201.

However,

this

may

vary

on

the

specific

model

of

switch

purchased.

Please
