Before setting up column (A), first unlock the wheel 
brakes (F). To avoid damaging the paint coating on 
the column, first straighten pedal (D). 

 

Follow  the  instructions  (X)  on  the  bottom  of  the

Next engage once again the castor locking brakes 
(F)! 
 

Step 6: Install the column 

The  main  column  (A)  may  now  be  set  up.  Insert 
the  M10  bolt  from  the  side  into  the  hole  of  the 
bracket  and  the  main  column  (A),  all  the  way 
through, and fasten it with the M10 cap nut. 

 

Next from the front using an M12 Allen key, screw 
on  the  grip  handle  firmly  to  the  bracket.  The  grip 
handle  is  now  firmly  connected  and  fixed  to  the

Cut off both cable ties after assembly. Remove the 
protective  film  around  the  drive  shaft  and  at  the 
end of the lifter arm. 

 
 
 

 
 
 

 

 

Step 7: Install the lifter axis 

 

To  attach  the  drive  motor 
to  the  lifting  axis,  remove 
the  safety  ring  (1)  and  the 
pin  (2)  from  the  borehole 
of the lifting arm (B). 

 
 
 
 

Next  raise  the  lifter  arm 
(B)  and  align  the  borehole 
of  the  lifting  axis  with  the 
lifter arm. 
The  lifter  arm  is  fixed  by 
inserting  the  pin  and  in-
stalling the safety ring. 
 

Be  sure  that  the  safety 
ring  is  completely  in-
stalled and closed

 
 

 
Step 8: Install the carrier 

The carrier (G) (in the accessories) for the sling  is 
attached to the end of the lifter arm (B). 
Loosen the pre-installed screw (1) at the end of the 
lifter  arm.  Next  insert  the  pre-assembled  carrier 
with the  borehole  facing  upwards  into  the  opening 
of the lifter arm and tighten firmly.  
 
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 
Step 9: Install emergency OFF button 

 
Before  starting  up  the  Pa-
tient  Hoist,  the  emergency 
OFF  button  must  be  deac-
tivated. 
To  do  this,  rotate the  button 
clockwise until it pops out. 

 
If  the  rechargeable  battery  is  connected  to  the 
control unit, the charge status of the rechargeable 
battery  is  displayed 

(see  page  7,  section  10.3).
