Wear fitted clothing and no jewellery while working with the ES 2000,

since it may get caught in the ES 2000.

Use  work  gloves.  Wear  suitable  footwork,  as  well  as  a  hairnet,  if  you

  have long hair.

Check  the  unit  for  potential  damage  and  the  movability  of  its  individual

parts  prior  to  use.  Please  ensure  that  only  a  recognized  expert  carries
out all repairs of potential damages. Do not work with a defective unit.

Clamp  the  to-be-worked-on  ski  or  snowboard  down  tightly  with  the

base pointing upward, prior to grinding the edge.

Assume  a  natural  posture  and  ensure  a  secure  stance  while  you  are

  working.

Only  work  while  fully  concentrated  and  gently  apply  the  pressure  of

  the ES 2000

to the ski’s edge.

For  your  own  safety,  only  use  parts  and  equipment  recommended  by

  the ES 2000 manufacturer.

Electrical connection

Ensure that the mains voltage provided by your electricity supplier matches

the operating voltage (230V/50Hz) stated on the nameplate.

Operating instruction

Do not exert pressure on the unit during the grinding process. Otherwise there

is  danger  of  the  grinding  belt  tearing,  resulting  in  damage  to  the  ski  or

snowboard edge. While working, do not hold on to the unit around the cooling

holes in order to avoid overheating its motor. Test the equipment on an old

ski first to learn how to handle the ES 2000 and find its ideal settings.
