3.11 NMEA 2000 connection

The display can receive data from NMEA 2000 devices (e.g. data
from compatible engines). The NMEA 2000 connection is made
using SeaTalk

ng

and appropriate adaptor cables.

You can EITHER:

• Use your SeaTalk

ng

backbone and connect each NMEA 2000

device on a spur, OR

• connect the display on a spur into an existing NMEA 2000

backbone.

Important:

You cannot have 2 backbones connected together.
