CAN Sidekick Pro Injection for Case IH 3/4XXX Installation and Operation Manual

PRESSURE TRANSDUCER CALIBRATION

Use the Pressure Transducer Calibration screen to calibrate all pressure transducers in your sprayer control system.

1. Press the Press (pressure) icon

on the navigation bar to display the Pressure Transducer Calibration

screen.

2. Use the Rate Controller window to select the desired rate controller. Calibrate the pressure transducer at the

main tank.

3. Press the Rate Controller field to open the pop-up options window.
4. Press the rate controller name in the options window.
5. Press Update Cal to reset the pressure transducers to zero. One of two possible pop-up messages will display.

a. When the main tank is selected, the following message displays: “Before continuing with the pressure

transducer calibration, ensure that the actual boom and sparge pressures are 0 psi (0 kPa).”

b. When a direct injection tank is selected, the following message displays: “Before continuing with the

pressure transducer calibration, ensure that the injection pump pressure is 0 psi (0 kPa).”

6. Press Continue and complete the calibration.
7. Repeat this process for any other pressure transducer that requires calibration.

INJECTION PUMP CALIBRATION

The AFS Pro 700 display provides a remote closed-system calibration procedure for the injection pump in a direct

injection system.

NOTE:

Verify your settings on the Product Controller Setup screen before continuing.

Flow Alarm

Use the Flow Alarm window

to enable or disable an

alert when the pump is

running but there is no

liquid or the flow is below

the minimum.
Note: The Flow Alarm

window displays only when

a direct injection tank is

selected in the Rate

Controller window.

Press the Flow Alarm window to enable or

disable an alert when the pump is running

but there is no liquid or the flow is below

the minimum.
Press the Flow Alarm window to access the

pop-up options window.
Select either Off or On.

Vacuum Alarm

Use the Vacuum Alarm

window to enable or

disable an alert when the

vacuum is too high.
Note: The Vacuum Alarm

window displays only when

a direct injection tank is

selected in the rate

controller window.

Typical causes of high vacuum inside a

product that is too think or blockages at

the strainer or filter.
Press the Vacuum Alarm window to access

the pop-up options window.
Select either Off or On.
