Inserting the Material Reservoir
NOTE!
The material reservoir is an essential printing accessory.
Incorrect handling and the failure to provide the
prescribed care can have a negative impact on the print
quality of your print jobs.
Filling the Material Reservoir
Proceed as follows to fill the material reservoir before inserting it into
the machine:
1.
Wear protective gloves on your hands.
2.
Place the material reservoir on a clean and level surface.
3.
Prepare the printing material according to the manufacturer's
instructions. (

4.
Then carefully fill the reservoir with the printing material.
Take note of the maximum filling height of approx. 11 mm while
doing so! You can also read the maximum filling level off the
filling indicator on the inside of the reservoir frame.
Inserting the Material Reservoir &
Assigning it to a Material
To insert the material reservoir into the machine, proceed as follows:
1.
Prerequisite: The knife has been inserted and the knife protection
device is closed.

2.
Push the filled material reservoir into the machine until the stop.
In doing so, the reservoir is pulled slightly upwards and firmly
fixed in place.
3.
If applicable, the
“Reservoir Check” message appears on the
display. Check the message. Then acknowledge the message by
pressing the
«
Confirm
»
button.
4.
The “Reservoir Inserted” action buttons then appear. These
allow you to save the status for the reservoir and material in the
printer:

Material Mixed
»:
By pressing the button, you indicate
that the material has been mixed.
–
«
Material Filtered
»:
By pressing the button, you indicate
that the material has been filtered.
–
«
Reservoir Checked
»
: By pressing the button, you
indicate that the material has been checked.
5.
Confirm your selection by pressing the
«
Okay
»
button.
6.
Now hold the RFID tag from the used material bottle, if
available, against the RFID spot on the front of the printer.
The material name and the expiry date of the material appear
on the display.
Alternatively, you can scan in the material bottle
on the inside of the middle hood.
7.
Press the
«
Yes
»
button to assign the material to the inserted
reservoir.
8.
Continue with inserting the collection basket.

NOTE!
Wearing protective gloves protects the skin from contact
with skin damaging materials. During work steps in
which you work with printing materials or cleaning
agents, we always recommend wearing protective
gloves.
