Setting Up & Administrating the Automatic Separation Function
7.7.1
Operation with Automatic Separation Function
The Automatic Separation Function (ASM function) facilitates the direct
separation of the printed parts from the build platform following the
completion of the last printed layer. The separated printed parts then
fall into the collection basket to be removed from the machine.
The function is disabled as standard when the machine is delivered.
Enabling “
Automatic Part Separation
“
Proceed as follows if you wish to enable the “Automatic part
separation” function
:
1.
Access the

2.
Locate the button
«
Enable automatic part separation
»
on the
left-hand side of the display.
The button lights up red when the
function is disabled.
3.
Press the button next to the description to enable the function.
The button lights up green when the function is enabled.
4.
Now set the number of print jobs that can be collected in the
collection basket. (“Maximum jobs in basket”, see as follows
below.)
Set ”Maximum Jobs in Basket“
5.
Now locate the input field next to the “Maximum jobs in basket”
description in the centre of the display. This value indicates how
many print jobs can be collected in the collection basket before
the basket has to be emptied.
The maximum number of jobs is
set to 3 ex-works.
6.
To change the number of print jobs, access the Windows
keyboard on the touch display by swiping upwards from the
bottom edge of the display.
7.
Enter the chosen number of print jobs.
8.
Press the
«
Save
»
button on the right-hand side of the display to
save the setting.
9.
Return to the main menu.
