Switching On the Machine
7.1.1
Switching On the Machine for the First Time
Proceed as follows, to switch on the machine for the first time when the
main switch is set to the
«
O
»
(Off) position:

Prerequisite: The machine has already been fully connected.

Switch the main switch (black toggle switch) on the back of the
machine to the
«
I
»
position (On).
The power on button on the front of the machine lights up green
and the machine starts. The display shows
“
Starting Machine
”
.
The printer software opens and the start page (main menu) of
the user interface is displayed (see fig. below). The z-axis carries
out a reference run in the direction of the upper end position.

Verify the machine status.

In order to make the operation of the machine even
more comfortable, supporting messages appear at
some operating points. For an optimisation of your
printing processes and printing results, every message
with a recommendation for action is displayed.
When starting the machine, the following supporting
messages appear:
