Press the REC button on the Remote Control Unit to record directly.
The massage " VCR Recording Start Now " display on the screen.
Automatically, it will start recording on VCR, if your VCR support external Link function. Otherwise
you have to start manually the record function on your VCR. ( Depend on the VCR.)
From the Common Interface Manager screen, you can check
the names of the Smart Cards you have assigned. These
appear next to Slots 1 and 2.
Select a slot and then press the OK button to check the menu
available on the corresponding Smart Card. The contents of
such menus vary depending on the Smart Card you are
using.
This chapter explains the setting of VCR Recording on the VCR.
Refer to Section 6.2 on Factory Preset for details.
NOTE :
When you perform factory preset of the receiver. The receiver will be initialized in one of two
ways. The difference is determined by the receiver model type .
Settings will be restored to their factory settings default settings and channel information
programmed at the factory will remain unchanged.

When you recording on the VCR, it will be displayed in the front panel as below.
This function allows to record the same channel through tuner2 which is watching through tuner1.
Press the A/B button on the Remote Control Unit to go to " Tuner 2 " screen.
Use the CH Up and CH Down buttons to select channel.
If you select " Tuner 2 ", it will be displayed Ch. Number with dot in the front panel.
