2.1.3. GAS PRESSURE CHECK AND
CALIBRATION
In order to check and calibrate the minimum and
maximum gas pressures, proceed as follows:
› remove the boiler's front casing (refer to chapter
ACCESSING THE BOILER);
› loosen the screws in the gas 'B' discharge socket
(fig. 1) and insert the manometer.
FOR MAXIMUM DOMESTIC HEATING POWER
USING METHANE
› Set the maximum domestic water temperature;
› turn on a domestic hot water tap as far as it
will go and check that the gas pressure on the
manometer is compliant with the data indicated
in the "TECHNICAL DATA" chapter;
› If not, remove the cap 'A' (fig. 1) and using a
10mm wrench, rotate nut 'C' (fig. 1) until the
manometer indicates the correct pressure.
FOR MAXIMUM DOMESTIC HEATING POWER
USING LPG
› Remove cap 'A' (fig. 1) from the modulator and
check that nut 'C' (fig. 1) is tightened completely.
› turn on a domestic hot water tap as far as it
will go and check that the gas pressure on the
manometer is compliant with the data indicated
in the "TECHNICAL DATA" chapter;
› If not, adjust the mains supply pressure regulator
until the manometer displays the correct
pressure (if using mixed gas G30 - G31, regulate
the input pressure of G31).
FOR MINIMUM DOMESTIC HEATING POWER
› Disconnect one of the two supply Fastons 'F'
(fig. 1) on the modulator 'E' (fig. 1) and check the
gas pressure on the manometer complies with
the data indicated in the "TECHNICAL DATA"
chapter;
› If not, keep nut 'C' in place with an open 10
mm wrench, and use a flat headed screwdriver
to rotate screw 'D' (fig. 1) until the manometer
indicates the correct pressure.
› reconnect the supply Fastom to the modulator
'E' (fig. 1);
› re-fit cap 'A' (fig. 1) to the modulator in the
original position for correct operation.
