14.2 Dependencies
14.2.1 I/O Pins
Parallel Port G uses the pins PG0 through PG7. These pins can be used individually as data inputs or out-
puts, serial port signals, PWM or Timer C outputs, external interrupt or input capture inputs, external I/O
strobes, or inputs and outputs for Flexible Interface Module B.
All pins are set as inputs on startup.
The individual bits can be set to be open-drain via PGDCR. Drive strength, slew rate, and the pullup/down
resistor status are selectable via PGxCR.
See the associated peripheral chapters for details on how they use Parallel Port G.
14.2.2 Clocks
All outputs on Parallel Port G are clocked by the peripheral clock unless changed in PGCR, where the
option of updating the Parallel Port G pins can be synchronized to the output of Timer A1, Timer B1, or
Timer B2.
