Network Test
When you select ‘Next’ after you have completed the ‘Time – Language
Configuration’ set up, the net part to the boot wizard will automatically check to
see if the NVR has successfully been connected to the local network. It will test
the Gateway to the network, the actual network connection and the DNS
connection (see Figure 2.4.3 below). If the network test fails you will need to
check the network connection into the NVR before retrying the test.

Once you have established a successful network connection, the next step
provides you with QR codes to scan with your mobile smart device to download
the remote monitoring & surveillance apps.
