Motion Detection
The motion detection function detects suspicious motion and triggers alarms when motion volume
in the detected area reaches or exceeds the determined sensitivity threshold value.

Within the Live View pane on the
Motion Detection
screen, there is a frame (
Motion Detection
window) which is used for defining the motion detection area. To change the size of the
Motion
Detection
window, move the mouse cursor to the edge of the frame and drag it outward or inward.
Moving the mouse to the center of the frame shifts the frame to the intended location.
Motion Detection Activation
It is possible to define up to four motion detection zones within the
Motion Detection
window by
selecting a number from the drop-down menu.
The motion detection function may be turned on or off in the
Motion Detection
section of the
screen. The default setting is
Off.
Alternatively, you may select
By schedule
to set a schedule.
To set a schedule
1.
Select
By schedule
. The message
Please Select
is displayed.

Click

. A drop-down menu opens.

From the drop-down menu, select a schedule from 1 to 10. The selected schedules are
displayed in a horizontal field above the drop-down menu.
