Performing Simple Partition Resource Allocation

This procedure continues from

on page 187 on page 185 above.

In the

Choose Resource Quantities

dialog box, enter the number of elements to include in the partition

by specifying:

•

Number of drives

•

Number of storage slots

•

Number of I/E station slots

The quantity available for each type of resource element indicates resources not already assigned to
existing partitions. Storage slot quantity is limited by the total slots authorized in the capacity on demand
license.
