ATL PowerStor L200 Series Library User’s Guide

Eject/Unlock

The

EJECT/UNLOCK?

option unlocks the magazine door and ejects a

cartridge from the tape drive.

Table 6 lists possible

EJECT/UNLOCK?

options and their respective

messages.

Opening the Magazine
Door

To open the magazine door:

Procedure

Press Select.

EJECT/UNLOCK? i

s displayed.

Press Next.

Eject Cartridge?

is displayed.

Press Next.

Unlock Door?

is displayed.

Press Enter.

Are you sure?

is displayed.

Press Enter to answer Yes.

The library removes any cartridge from the drive.

Door

Unlocked!

is displayed. This activity can take up to three

minutes if a rewind from end of tape is required.

The magazine door is now unlocked; pull on the door handle to
open it.

Closing the Magazine
Door

To close the magazine door, push the door closed until it latches. After
approximately 5 seconds the library will lock the doors automatically.

The library executes a scan magazine function.
